MERS™ is a series of computer simulation training programs designed to improve critical decision-making skills in patient assessment, treatment, transport and documentation skills for EMS students and practitioners.

 
DESCRIPTION

For EMT-Basic and EMT-Intermediate, primary, refresher and recertification training, and current health care providers.

This computer simulation program allows EMS students and practitioners to perform their critical decision making skills in patient assessment, treatment, transport, communication and documentation.

Talk with, touch, move patients; interact with bystanders and witnesses. MERS™ provides the sights, sounds, stress and action of actual pre-hospital emergency situations, and evaluates the students' decisions, actions, conclusions, and documentation. Simulations provide evaluations, including scored DOT skill sheets; and accreditation by CECBEMS. MERS™ runs on all Windows and MAC computer platforms.
